Numerical Investigation on the Residual Ultimate Strength of Central-Cracked Stiffened Plates under Tensile and Bending Loads Using XFEM

چکیده

The present paper aims to study the crack propagating behavior of a stiffened plate under tensile and bending displacement load loads. extended finite element method (XFEM) is used analyze residual ultimate strength plates with central crack. quasi-static growth process simulated by software ABAQUS. validity grid validated numerical comparing fatigue rate round compact tension specimen (RCT) results experiment values. Influential parameters, including size plates, heights stiffeners varied, uniaxial four-point models are analyzed. show that reduced action bottom stiffener destroyed propagation, successively. With increase in height, resistance will also increase, thus restraining plates.
